Overview
A demo build for a Paris plumbing business: a site shaped around emergency calls. Every layout decision assumes the visitor has water on the floor and one hand free — the phone number stays reachable, the six trades are one tap away, and a quote request takes three fields.
The challenge
Why it mattered
Emergency trades win or lose the job in the first ten seconds. The visitor is stressed, on a phone, and comparing two or three search results at once. A site that buries the number under a hero carousel loses to one that does not. It also has to rank locally, which means real service pages per trade rather than a single page listing everything.
What I built
- Six dedicated service pages — one per trade — so each can rank on its own local query
- Call button pinned in the header and repeated at every scroll depth
- Three-field quote form with an explicit GDPR consent checkbox
- AI chat assistant answering common questions outside working hours
- Local SEO groundwork: LocalBusiness structured data, address and hours, legal pages
The result
A demonstration of the local-service pattern end to end: call, quote, or chat — whichever the visitor reaches for first.
